Xiaomi launches new cordless vacuum with 230AW suction & self-emptying dock

Xiaomi has released the Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Pro in China. The vacuum cleaner, which was unveiled last month, is now available for purchase on JD.com for 1,498 yuan ($220).

The vacuum features a dual-airflow self-emptying system integrated into its push-in charging dock. Once docked, you can press a button to transfer the contents of the onboard dustbin into a 3-liter bag inside the station, which takes about 11 seconds. To help control odors and bacteria, the bag is treated with silver ions. Xiaomi estimates it can hold roughly 100 days of typical household dust before you need to replace it.

For standard cleaning, the vacuum uses a 120,000 RPM brushless motor that generates 230AW of suction power and 25,000Pa of vacuum pressure. It relies on a 12-cone system to separate dust from the air, which helps prevent the internal filters from getting clogged over time. The exhaust air passes through a five-stage filtration setup that Xiaomi says captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. All of the internal filter parts can be washed with water.

The main motorized floor brush is equipped with a blue light that projects a 180-degree beam up to 30 centimeters ahead of the vacuum. This is intended to make fine dust and pet hair more visible, particularly in poorly lit areas like under beds or couches. The roller brush also includes an anti-tangle design, using built-in comb teeth to pull hair off the roller as it spins. Additionally, the brush head is designed to clean flush against walls on its right side.

The device is powered by a removable 2,600mAh battery. Xiaomi says it can run for up to 90 minutes on a single charge when used in the lowest power setting (Eco mode). It also features a dirt sensor that can automatically increase or decrease suction based on the amount of debris it detects on the floor.

The Mijia 4 Pro connects to the Mi Home app using Xiaomi HyperOS Connect. The app lets users check battery levels, monitor the dust bag capacity, and see when to replace consumable parts. Along with the main floor head, the vacuum includes a motorized mite-removal brush and a standard two-in-one crevice tool for furniture and tight spaces.
