The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, which debuted globally as the Red Magic Astra, is expected to receive a successor soon. The current model launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 165Hz OLED display, and both of these key specifications are now rumored to see significant upgrades in the upcoming version.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The new chip features a more powerful CPU and improved GPU performance, delivering roughly 10–15% better gaming performance and more stable average FPS during high-intensity scenes.

The tipster also claims that the new tablet will feature a 200Hz OLED display. The exact screen size has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be around 9 inches to fit into the compact gaming tablet category and compete with devices such as the recently unveiled Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5.
