BOYA Launches Notra Neo, an Accessible AI Note Taker Designed for Everyday Conversation.

A compact, auto-switching AI recorder that captures ambient discussions, phone calls and Bluetooth audio while turning conversations into structured notes.

BOYA, the audio technology brand known for its professional recording solutions, has announced the launch of Boya Notra Neo, a lightweight AI note taker designed to make intelligent recording, transcription and information organisation more accessible for everyday users. First announced at IFA earlier this year, Notra Neo brings ambient recording, phone call capture and Bluetooth recording together in one compact device, automatically switching modes based on how it is being used. Built for students, professionals, creators and teams who move through fast-paced conversations across classrooms, meetings, interviews and online communication, Notra Neo simplifies the process of capturing spoken information and turning it into structured, useful notes.

Designed as the second-generation product in BOYA’s AI note taker family, Notra Neo lowers the barrier for users entering the category for the first time. Its simplified interaction design removes the need for manual mode switching, allowing conversations to be captured naturally whether placed on a desk, attached to a smartphone or connected through Bluetooth. Powered by BOYA’s acoustic engineering expertise, the device features a 2 MEMS plus 1 VCS microphone configuration with AI-driven noise cancellation up to -30 dB, delivering clear recordings in everyday environments and supporting a pickup range of up to 5 metres.

Once audio is captured, Notra Neo’s AI processing transforms recordings into structured knowledge. Transcription is available in more than 140 languages, with speaker identification for clearer conversation records. Automatic summaries, key point extraction and organised notes help users review information quickly without listening through entire recordings. With Ask AI, users can return to previous conversations and surface details from lectures, meetings or calls, keeping important insights within reach across busy study and work cycles.
