Sony announces 27-inch PlayStation Gaming Monitor

Sony has unveiled the 27-inch PlayStation Gaming Monitor, which comes with an integrated charging hook for a DualSense controller. It’s “built for desktop gaming with a PS5”, the company says, featuring “bold visuals and performance”.

The monitor is designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and comes with 2560×1440 resolution from an IPS panel that has HDR support with Auto HDR tone mapping that “automatically adjusts HDR settings during setup on PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles, ensuring rich and vivid picture quality”.

The monitor has variable refresh rate up to 120Hz for PS5 and PS5 Pro, and 240Hz on “compatible PC and Mac devices”. There’s VESA mounting too, two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A ports, and one USB-C port “that can be used with PlayStation Link Adapters or other devices”, as well as built-in stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The PlayStation Gaming Monitor will become available in 2026 in the US and Japan. Unfortunately, Sony hasn’t announced pricing at this time.
