Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, and one of the standout features at the Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to be the new Privacy Display technology on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
According to well-known tipster Ice Universe, the technology will also make its way to Apple’s MacBook lineup.

The tipster claims that MacBook models may adopt Samsung’s privacy display technology by 2029. If accurate, this would mark an interesting addition to laptops and could also be used by other brands in the future.
The feature is designed to shield the screen from prying eyes by selectively limiting viewing angles, ensuring that on-screen content remains visible only to the person using the device. Users will also be able to enable the feature for specific areas of the display or disable it entirely.
Rumors suggest the technology will remain exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as it is believed to be a hardware-based feature.
