Honor Magic V5 - Launch Event

Today in London, Honor have just announced the UK and European launch of the Honor Magic V5 at a glamourous event filled with journalists and fans of Honor’s products from around Europe.

I was lucky enough to attend the event in person thanks to Honor’s support.

The Honor Magic V5 is shaking the folding phone market up a bit as this is Honors 4th iteration of large form factor folding phone and they have crammed alot of product development and evolution from things they have learned with the previous generation devices into this amazingly thin form factor. As it stands today the Ivory White Honor Magic v5 is the thinnest folding phone on the market worldwide and honestly with out removing the USB Type C port I don’t see how any other manufacturer can go thinner! It is also one of the worlds strongest hinges to be found on a folding phone to date as we were shown today.

Along side the IP rating of IP58/59 that the Honor Magic V5 holds this proves that the phone is thin stylish and tough. Not only that thought this beauty has the smarts as well as it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and has Honor’s and Google’s best AI suite on board as well. Then we need to talk about longevity not only in how long it will last on it massive 5820mAh battery but the fact that it will also be supported fro 7 years of both Android Updates and Security updates.
