Amazon drops the new Blink Mini 2K Plus to just $21.99

The Blink Mini 2K Plus is Blink’s newest plug-in security camera, and it packs a lot into a small indoor setup. There’s also a solid deal on it at Amazon right now, which makes this a good time to take a closer look.

This camera records in up to 2K resolution at 2560 x 1440, so you get sharper footage than older Mini models. Blink also includes HDR with local tone mapping, low-light color vision, infrared night vision, two-way audio, and a built-in siren. That gives the Blink Mini 2K Plus a strong feature set for checking in on a room, keeping an eye on pets, or watching over entry points. Its 138-degree diagonal field of view helps cover more space, and it can record clips up to 60 seconds long.

It’s mainly built as an indoor plug-in camera, but it can also be used outdoors with Blink’s optional weather-resistant power adapter, which adds IP65 weather resistance in that setup. The camera works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, supports WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 security, and offers storage through a Blink subscription plan or local storage with a compatible Sync Module and attached media. Blink also supports extras like doorbell chime use and a dual-camera Arc mount for a wider panoramic view.

As for the deal, Amazon has the Blink Mini 2K Plus down to $21.99 from its $639.99 RRP. That’s a 465% discount relative to the recommended retail price. It also has a 4.4-star rating, which adds to the appeal if you want a current Blink camera with higher-resolution video for less.
