Samsung strongly hints at Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, and Z Flip8 unveiling date

A couple of rumors so far have suggested that Samsung will hold its next big Unpacked event on July 22 in London, and now the company itself is strongly hinting at the fact that it is the correct date.

Over in Malaysia, Samsung is offering its loyal fans an exclusive MYR 700 ($171) discount “on the purchase of their next Galaxy Foldable”. This will be available in the Samsung Members app from July 22 until October 4.

The fact that the code is going to start appearing on July 22 is almost an official confirmation that it is in fact the date of the next Unpacked event. So hopefully the company will start sending out official invites for it soon.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is rumored to be Samsung’s first wide foldable, designed to compete directly with the upcoming iPhone Ultra, which is expected to be unveiled in September. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is rumored to be the rather confusing name for the Galaxy Z Fold7‘s successor, while the Flip8 will obviously be the successor to the Flip7 from last year.
