Nothing Headphone (a) is here in four colors with 135-hour battery life

Alongside the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, today Nothing also introduced the Headphone (a), the first Nothing-branded affordable pair of over-ear headphones.

It comes in four colors: pink, yellow, white, and black. It’s advertised to get 135 hours of battery life on one charge, which is quite an exceptional amount if we dare say so ourselves. Furthermore, a five-minute recharge will deliver five hours of playback. It weighs 310g, and sports memory foam cushions. It has an IP52 rating for dust and sweat resistance.

The Headphone (a) has the same controls as the Nothing Headphone (1) which launched last year – the Roller, Paddle, and Button “provide a precise and effortless way to adjust volume, navigate media, and switch ANC modes without the friction often associated with touch interfaces”, Nothing says in its official press release.

The Button can even act as a remote trigger for your camera, and with Channel Hop you can press the Button to “skip through your favorite apps and functions instantly without ever reaching your phone”.

The Headphone (a) comes with a Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless certification and supports the LDAC codec. It sports 40mm titanium-coated drivers for “powerful, distortion-free sound exactly as the artist intended”. The ANC has three presets, and there are three mics for calls. The Nothing X app provides an eight-band EQ, and “for added depth” there’s a real-time Bass Enhancement algorithm.

The Nothing Headphone (a) will be available on March 13 in white, black, and pink for £149 / $199 / €159. The limited edition yellow will go on sale on April 6. Pre-orders have already started from Nothing’s official website, as well as “select partners”.
