Back in January, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra intended for North America ran Geekbench powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. This was joined by the vanilla S26 destined for North America, also using the same chip.
A few days ago, the Korean Galaxy S26 ran Geekbench with the Exynos 2600 SoC at the helm, and now the Korean S26 Ultra has been spotted in the benchmark’s database. The good news is that even the Korean version is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

So there’s a very high chance that the S26 Ultra will use that SoC across the world, unlike its siblings which will definitely mix in the Exynos 2600 in some markets.
The S26 Ultra for Korea has the model number SM-S948N, and the prototype that ran Geekbench had 12GB of RAM. The phone will obviously boot Android 16 from day one, with Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 on top. The Galaxy S26 family is expected to be unveiled on February 25.
